Family Fold Update 04/13/2026

This photo is from a “Masters Week” several years ago when The Family Fold was playing music for the golf guests. This week we are traveling to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Here are details and things you can pray about for my mom.

Ricie will have her yearly imaging of her brain shunt and spine. Please pray for encouraging reports.

She will have a bone density scan. Please pray that her bones are getting stronger. She is taking powerful medicine in hopes it will build her bones up. That medicine costs over $1200 for a 3-month supply, so with that kind of price tag, we really want to see good results!

She will have an examination with Mayo’s pain doctor. She has suffered very much, so please pray that he can find a path to relief for her.

Mom will have labs and a pre-op appointment for her kidney stone removal surgery. Please pray for good levels, no infection, and everything to go smoothly for everyone involved with the procedure.

With all of this, we are having to spend 3-nights at the hotel. Please pray for endurance and strength with all we have to tackle this week.

And please pray for safe travels for us. Last week, the vehicle required lots of repairs, and there’s still more to come when we get back home.
