We’re back home!
We are grateful for you all following along and praying for Ricie…
We are grateful for you all following along and praying for Ricie…
Mom’s procedure went well today, praise God! They placed a stent, but they did not remove the kidney stone because of infection. In a couple of weeks, they plan to do another procedure to remove the kidney stone. They are treating her current infection with an antibiotic through an IV. She’s still experiencing pain, weakness, and loss of appetite. She is going to stay in the Mayo Hospital day by day until these symptoms improve. Please continue to pray for Mom. We thank you.
Peace, Love, & Prayers… ERYN
Mom has a kidney stone that could be causing obstruction. The ER doctor said they will admit her to the hospital here at Mayo Clinic, and urology will do a procedure on her tomorrow (Friday, March 20th, 2026) to place a stent. Thank you for praying, and please continue to do so. We don’t want any infections or glitches.

We hope you are doing well. I was hoping to write you a pleasant update as we enter the spring season, but I come to you this morning with a prayer alert for my mom, Ricie Eubanks. We are on the way to Mayo Clinic’s ER right now. She’s supposed to have a bunch of follow-up appointments and tests there in a few weeks, but her pain has intensified to a new level, and it has not… let… up! The suffering is constant, no matter how she tries to ease off. Please pray that they can help her. Thank you for bearing our burdens and caring. We are grateful for you all.
This beautiful photo of Mom was taken just a few days ago, when she was singing at our “Family Fold Jam.” We’ve got to get this current problem solved!
Peace, Love, & Prayers… ERYN
We pray that your new year is going well. Thank you for your prayers for me last month. My TEE procedure went smoothly. In a few months, my cardiologist wants to do another echo (imaging) of my heart to make sure that whatever was “flickering” near the aortic valve is gone. My blood thinner dosage has been increased so if there is a clot, it could be dissolved by that extra medicine. Thank The Lord, my labs are normal (no indication of infection), and I continue to feel good.
But enough about me! Y’all keep those heartfelt prayers going for Mom. She is holding steady, and in March we will travel to Mayo Clinic for lots of appointments and tests. More to come on all of that as we get closer to making the trip to Jacksonville, Florida.
Praise God that my dad, my husband, my guitar player & his wife, and the rest of our Family Fold are doing well! We pray for The Good Lord to keep it that way.
We thank you all for caring about us and being so faithful to pray for us through the years. Sending prayers for you, too….. ERYN
I have not been on Facebook in over a week, but tonight I am filled with gratitude over all of the love and prayers y’all have sent for me. Please continue to pray for me, especially on Christmas Eve (Wednesday, December 24th, 2025). I will have a TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram) that day. I am super thankful that my blood work last week did not show any infection, so we will see what this next test shows about my heart. Thanks again for caring and praying, and all of our Family Fold prays that you will have a blessed Christmas.
We thank you for praying for us as we traveled to Jacksonville, Florida for Ricie’s procedure at the Mayo Clinic. Unfortunately, this did not help her pain like everybody had hoped it would, so we are not going to pursue this particular method of treatment. But, the doctor saw firsthand how she suffers when that pain hits her, he has not given up on her, and he seems like he really wants to help her. He wants us to return for a follow up appointment with him where he can give her a thorough examination in hopes of finding some sort of solution for her. Of course it was disappointing that this first attempt didn’t pan out, but our family has the attitude that God may have something even better in mind for my mom. Please continue to pray about this and for healing in all areas of her body. We do praise The Lord that she had great endurance on this trip, a fine appetite for fresh Florida seafood, God gave us safe travels, and we had fun.
I had a routine cardiology appointment and heart echo this week. It’s been 6-years since my open heart surgery and aortic valve replacement, and The Lord brought me through that with flying colors. No complaints here looking back on that experience! I have been feeling fabulous physically, so I was rattled when the doctor told me that he saw something flickering near my mechanical aortic valve. He wants to investigate, so he immediately ordered blood work/cultures, and he wants me to have further imaging next week (possibly running a camera down my throat, although I’m praying we can get by with a CT). My doctor said it may be a clot that they could dissolve with more Coumadin blood thinner, or it may be an infection….. We are hopeful and keeping a positive outlook, but if it were to be the worst case, I would have to have another open heart surgery.
My beloved friends, y’all know how I am. I’m just laying it all out there so y’all will pray strongly for us. God continues to be so faithful and so good! Our trust is in Jesus. We love y’all, we thank y’all, and I’ll keep you posted.
~Eryn Eubanks~
P.S… After everything that Mom & I have been through these past 6-years, it is no joke when we say, “Praise God, we made the pilgrimage to Buc-ee’s!” This photo was taken on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 in Brunswick, GA.
Please pray for us as we travel to Mayo Clinic (Jacksonville, FL) this week. Ricie is going to have a non-invasive procedure on her lower back, and we are praying this will give her relief from the excruciating pain she deals with everyday. If she could hurt less, we believe she could get to moving more, you know. Please pray for this procedure to be successful, and that we will have safe travels. Thank you!
It has been a while since I’ve written to let you know how we’re doing. It was a blessed summer season for us, thank The Lord; and I pray these past months have been good for you, too. I celebrated 25-years of being a mandolin player, enjoyed music & church gatherings with dear friends on “The Patio,” had loved ones visit from out of town, carried on teaching my music lessons to a variety of ages, and I am continuing to work in my home recording studio.
Mom is celebrating 17-months of not being on any infection medicine, and she is holding steady, praise God! She is in her 9th month of taking that strong medicine to build her bones. It is a 2-year treatment, and we ask that you continue to pray for that medicine to work well for her. During the summer, two new specialists were brought on to her team of doctors at Mayo Clinic, and they have some new ideas on helping her regarding mobility and pain. She is still currently unable to walk due to the damage that infection did to her spine, but Mayo Clinic wants her to have outpatient physical therapy in a hospital program here in Augusta. So, we are starting that today. Please pray that this will go well for Mom, that she will have a skilled therapist who will execute Mayo Clinic’s custom prescription for her, and that all of this will help her.
It has been 5-years now since this life-changing illness happened to Mom. But God has been so good and faithful through it all, and He has worked through y’all to help her. Please keep on praying for us. Nothing is too hard for The Lord… Nothing is impossible. Even Mayo Clinic’s doctors call Mom their “miracle.” Thank y’all for being here for us. We pray for y’all, too. Don’t stop believing! ~ERYN
Below is an update from Mom (Ricie Eubanks)…
Now for an update from Eryn… “Our family is thankful to The Lord for the good reports Mom received this month. Today (April 29th, 2025) is a celebration day because it has been exactly 1-year since Mom had medicines for infection, and God has protected her from sickness! This is one of many answered prayers we’ve experienced. And the icing on the cake is that April was a happy birthday month for me, with 37 candles. Time flies when you’ve had lots of musical fun with loved ones. I cherish you all.”
We hope you’re having a Spirit-filled “Holy Weekend.” After Easter, we will travel to Mayo Clinic for Mom’s follow-up appointments and tests. Please continue to keep the faith and keep your prayers going for The Lord to heal Ricie Eubanks. We thank you for standing with us.
God bless you, and always remember… God Loves You!
And we love you, too.

Please pray for Eryn’s husband, Greg, and all of the family.
Greg’s mother, Mary Miller, went to Heaven on January 2nd, 2025.
She is being laid to rest today (Sunday, January 5th, 2025) in Brooklet, GA in the church yard of Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist.
Mary Foss Miller, a joyful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2025 at the age of 98. She was the cherished wife of Robert Carroll Miller, who preceded her in death after 67 years of marriage. She was born in Bulloch County on December 20, 1926 to Samuel J. and Katie NeSmith Foss.
Mary was a woman of many talents and passions. Whether she was sharing a laugh with her family or offering a word of encouragement, Mary’s loving nature was a constant source of comfort to those around her.
Mary’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was the proud mother of three children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her unwavering love and devotion. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of knowing that she was there to offer support, care, and affection.
Mary’s patient and tender heart, along with her joyful outlook on life, will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, creativity, and kindness that will continue to inspire and uplift her family for generations to come.
Mary is survived by her sister, Faye Foss Jeffery; children: Greg Miller (Eryn), Gaye Hill (Juan), and Gwen Stephens (Lee); grandchildren: Jennifer Capito, Justin Miller (Debbie), Haley Brannen (Jason), Whitney Van Atta and six great-grandchildren. We had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday, praise God, and the best part was Mom having so much fun. She planned delicious menus, played music, and we all had a wonderful time with her mother & brother (Oma & Uncle Greg). We hope the holiday photos make you smile, and we ask that you please remember Ricie in your prayers as we have several appointments at Mayo Clinic (Jacksonville, Florida) on Wednesday (December 4th, 2024). We continue to pray for The Lord to heal her spine.

(Video Summary: Eryn Eubanks & The Family Fold had a good time “popping up” at New Life Natural Foods during Autumn 2024. New Life & DiChickO’s Cafe have been so wonderful to our band through the years, and we are grateful for them all. It’s the end of a decades long era for their loyal fans in Augusta, GA; but we wish them the best as they start the next chapter across the river in North Augusta, SC. No one else could ever fill their shoes! Keep going, ‘cause y’all are needed in the CSRA.)

Thank you all for praying for us these past days! We made it back home from Jacksonville, Florida. Mom had a successful kidney stone procedure at Mayo Clinic. Greg and Mom had happy birthdays, Greg & I are having a nice anniversary, and the photo above full of love is a good opportunity to say, “Happy Birthing Day, Oma!” (That’s Ricie’s mother at the bottom left of the picture collage.) We are grateful to God for all of His blessings!
For those of you who like to stream your music, please look for our “Original 2” album on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, etc. We are delighted to finally have that added to the digital platforms. We hope to add more Family Fold music in the future.
We wish you a good Labor Day holiday weekend! It’s a busy time for our family. We are on the road to Jacksonville, Florida today (Thursday 08/29/2024). Mom will have appointments at Mayo Clinic this afternoon and tomorrow in preparation for her second kidney stone surgical procedure. We’ll get blood drawn, meet with the anesthesiologist and urologist, plus have a consult with the department of allergy/immunology. We’ll go back home to Augusta for the weekend, then travel again to Jacksonville on Monday (Labor Day 09/02/2024) to have Mom’s PICC line removed and gear up for the procedure which will happen on Tuesday… Which is also Mom’s birthday (September 3rd)! On Wednesday (09/04/2024) we will meet with the spine neurosurgeon, then return home that evening. So please pray for us over these next 6-days, that all will go well for Mom and help her on this health journey we’ve been on. Late October will be 4-years… And we can say that God has been faithful all the way. Thank y’all for sticking with us through it all, too. We love you, and thank The Lord for you.
Happy Birthday, Greg (Sunday, September 1st); and Happy Anniversary to Us (Thursday, September 5th)!
On this date (August 29th) in 2003, Dad, Mom, & I were baptized at Clarks Hill. It was the second time in our lives we were baptized, but it was the early days of The Family Fold and a time of rededication to The Lord and His service. We will always cherish that event and the dear people we shared that special occasion with.
Mom made it safely home from Mayo Clinic Hospital. Thank you all for praying for her during that unplanned roadtrip, admission, and procedure. She is doing better, but there are a lot of appointments planned now for August & September 2024. Over the next 3-weeks; we will physically travel to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL three separate times……. Spend four nights in the hotel that works for Mom since she is still unable to walk currently……. Will have another surgical procedure for the kidney stone on September 3rd……. And will have doctor appointments throughout August/September with Mayo Clinic’s Infectious Disease, Urology, Allergy/Immunology, Neurosurgery, Endocrinology, and Neurology Departments……. On top of all of this, Mom came home with a PICC line, IV pump, and a regiment of Ampicillin that flows through her every 24-hours. Insurance doesn’t flip the bill for all of that and payment gets collected with every shipment of medicine, but we’re definitely getting this, you know!?! With all of this occurring for Mom, if you still feel compelled to donate to her, please know that it helps her immensely. But as I say so often, the biggest thing you can do for her is keep on praying wholeheartedly. God has protected her and brought healing to her so many times, and we look to Him to keep on doing that for Mom. Thank you all! Our family sends our love, prayers, and gratitude for you.
Mom had a lot of tests yesterday at The Mayo Hospital, and one of them was a CT of her abdomen/pelvis which showed a stone/blockage. It's suspected that this not only brought about her unrelenting pain, but also the blood infection. This afternoon, she is having a "cystoscopy," followed by a "lithotripsy." The doctors are also getting a more specific IV antibiotic to treat the blood infection (“enterococcus faecalis bacteremia“). They will run another blood culture this evening, and see what further information we can get to help Mom. Please pray for the procedure to go well and for more answers/solutions to come for Mom. Thank y’all so much!
Photo circa: 2015… Our family is so grateful for your love & prayers!
