“Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer”

We hope our rendition of “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer” perks you up today!

Even before Rudolph became the popular “hero” of the classic Christmas story, I liked him the best out of all of the reindeers. He was my favorite one right from the beginning of the tale. It kind of ticked me off, though, that his peers didn't start being nice to him until he saved the day… Ugh!!!

So please, be kind to others always, not just when it benefits you.

“O Little Town of Bethlehem + Inisheer”

We hope you enjoy this Christmas carol that features Ricie Eubanks’ beautiful Irish penny whistle... “O Little Town of Bethlehem” + “Inisheer.”

“Inisheer” is a Celtic tune that I learned by ear at the Irish sessions that I grew up attending in downtown Augusta. I would go home humming this melody, but didn’t really think to play it for myself while I was a teenager. (I was busy pickin’ lots of other fun songs!) Through the years, I would catch myself humming it again from time to time. Finally around age 29, I put my pen to manuscript paper, wrote out sheet music of what I remembered of this tune, and told my band, “I’ve got a cool, old Celtic song for us to play!” We all love to play it anytime of the year, and when it’s Christmastime, Mom loves to pair it with one of her forever favorite carols from her childhood days, “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”

Please continue to pray for Mom. She has been battling a lot of pain this past weekend. But we are doing the best we can to combat it, and we are praying and believing for The Lord to renew her strength. Thank you for joining your love & prayers with ours.

We pray that you all have a peaceful week as we get closer to Christmas Day!

“Away In A Manger”

Mom is so grateful for the prayers that you continue to say for her! Her goal for the new week is to start practicing some music. We’re looking forward to hearing her beautiful sound again.

This weekend would have been our annual trip to Dahlonega, GA to play music for our dear friends at St. Elizabeth’s Church. We especially miss them this weekend, and would like to send this Christmas carol out to them.

Thinking about “Masters Week”

“Masters Week” and Augusta, Georgia’s world famous golf tournament has been different due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, but we are so proud to see them still carry on with it!

Our band wanted to share with you what “Masters Week” would usually be like for us. We are missing the music and our friends this year, but we are prayerfully looking forward to more fun times together, Good Lord willing... And I believe He is!

It became a “Masters Week” tradition for me to sing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” for our friend, Mr. Tom.

A Wayfaring Stranger’s memories from a few years ago…

Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at Hammond’s Ferry (North Augusta, SC)... A spur-of-the-moment video captured on an iPhone.

I was so surprised and honored to be asked by Andy Leftwich & Keith Sewell to play a song with them... And what a bonus treat to play this mandolin that originally belonged to Ricky Skaggs!

Mom is home from the hospital!

Mom came home from the hospital on Friday afternoon... And I have been busy ever since, haha! I apologize for not getting the word out sooner. My one track mind has been focused on playing nurse. We are happy to have Mom home, and we are so grateful for all of you praying for us during this time. Please continue to pray for Mom over the next few months as she heals from this surgery. Thanks again for every prayer!

Come before God’s throne of grace!

Eryn Eubanks talks about coming boldly before God’s throne of grace in prayer, how Jesus is our high priest who understands us, and how there is nothing that we can say or do that would cause God to stop loving us or wanting fellowship with us.

Featured Artist of Nashville City Productions

We are honored to be Nashville City Productions’ “Featured Artist.” They are the wonderful people who have duplicated our CDs and DVDs through the years. You don’t have to have a band to take advantage of their amazing services, though. Check out their specials below and what all they can do for you. Wouldn’t it be awesome to have your old photographs, videos, and tapes preserved digitally? They can do it! That would be fabulous for the holidays, you know. A priceless gift... Christmas time’s a-comin’... Oh, and so is our NEW Christmas DVD that they’re putting together for us!

Prayer Request for Ricie (Mom)

Please hold my mom in your prayers over these next few months. She has “cervical spine compression,” and will have surgery on the morning of Wednesday, October 28th.

It all started with her “self diagnosis of a frozen shoulder,” and she just accepted that she had less function in her left arm. This past March, her leg started giving her problems, with pain from her hip down to her shins. So she went to the doctor, and instead of a reference to pain management, she was sent to a neurosurgeon. The first person to give Mom a thorough exam was an old coworker of hers, so that was a ray of sunshine. After that exam, Mom had an MRI, and that is when we found out that she has pretty significant compression in her cervical spine (C3-C7). The doctor said that if she didn’t have surgery for it, it could cause further loss of function, and eventually paralysis.

The surgery may last up to 6-hours. They will go through her neck to do an “anterior cervical discectomy with fusion and plates, C3-C7,” then flip her over to do a “posterior fusion and plates, C3-T1.”

The healing time after the surgery will be about 3-months, and she will be in a neck brace for the first 6-weeks. Please pray that all of this will go well for her, and that The Lord will anoint her medical team. Please pray that there will be no complications, and that there won’t be any problems as this surgery is happening very near her larynx/vocal cords. We want Mom to continue to be able to play her beautiful penny whistle and sing with us. We love her so much!

The bottom right photo is a sneak peak of Mom’s upcoming “fall fashion accessory.” Seriously and sincerely, we thank you all for caring and praying for us.
