My mom, Ricie Eubanks, has been away from home (Augusta, Georgia) for medical treatment in Jacksonville, Florida since October 31st, 2021. Our family has made many journeys there ever since to visit her. It’s a 5-hour drive, and we stay 4-5 nights in a hotel. We do this every other week, sometimes more if an emergency is happening. Needless to say, those numbers and expenses add up quickly! I’ve taken care of my mom for over a year as she has gone through her medical problems, and I will keep doing my best to be there for her now.
