Mom is home from the hospital. We are so happy! We praise God, and we are grateful for y’all praying for us all along the way.
Please keep on praying for us as we all heal up from COVID and prepare for the trip to the Mayo Clinic. We’re going to need strength for the journey to Jacksonville, Florida in 4-weeks.
We hope you enjoy one of our Family Fold
classic gospel favorites… “By The Mark.”
Mom & I need you to pray for the wonderful men in our lives. Dad & Greg tested positive for COVID today, too. Thanks again for praying for us all.
Please continue to pray for my family. Dad is feeling better after his pneumonia diagnosis last week. Mom, Greg (my husband), & I developed a hacking cough yesterday morning. I kept saying, “We will go to Prompt Care on Monday,” since waiting in the ER can be rough. But Mom wasn’t strong enough to get in the car to go to Prompt Care this morning, so we called an ambulance around 6:00 A.M.
I got myself ready for another possible hospital stay with Mom. But before going to the hospital, Dad took me to Prompt Care so I could get some help for my cough. I was shocked when the lady said I had COVID. And then a test result from Mom’s MyChart came to my phone saying that she has COVID, too. There’s a good chance that Greg has it as well. He will be tested this afternoon. Dad will be going to his primary care doctor for a follow up after his pneumonia medicines, and he may be able to get another COVID test, too, just in case. (He was negative for COVID last week.)
Mom has been admitted to University Hospital and is being treated there for her COVID. I have been prescribed medicines and vitamins, and I just finished my monoclonal infusion (which I was a candidate for due to my mechanical aortic valve/heart history). I am to quarantine at home… Which is what my little family has pretty much been doing already for this whole pandemic! Lord knows, we certainly have been more careful than a lot of folks are being, and we’ve been stickin’ to ourselves. And we’ve been vaccinated, too, but this virus is just crazy.
It really hurts me not to be able to be there for my mom while she is in the hospital. I’ve taken care of her this past year, and y’all know how amazing she is when it came to taking care of me through my open heart surgery. I love my mom! I wish I could fix it all and take every problem of hers away. I’ve tried very hard to protect her this year.
My last bit of news that I want to share is that Mom is scheduled for an appointment at The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida on November 1st. So we’ve all got to get better! Please, please, please keep on praying for us.
And I pray you all stay safe and well.
With gratitude and love to you all,
Eryn
Please pray for my dad, Patrick Eubanks. He had to go to prompt care this week. Dad does not have COVID, thank God, but he does have pneumonia. He was sent home with 5 different medicines, so please pray that those will do the trick and knock out this sickness. We want Dad back to 100%.
Thank you for praying for him, and for all of the prayers y’all have said for my mom. We are grateful for you remembering our family, and we send our prayers for y’all as well today.
August 31st, 2021 ~ Eryn Eubanks shares a song (“The B-I-B-L-E”), a health update on her mom, and a message from The Bible. Scriptures used are Isaiah 55:11, Romans 10:17, Hebrews 4:12, Isaiah 41:10, and Romans 8:28.
I was absolutely honored that “Thru The Bible with Dr. J. Vernon McGee” shared my video on their Facebook page… Wow! Y’all may remember me sharing this video a few months ago.
This weekend, we are strolling down Memory Lane and recalling the fun times we’ve had in August through the years. The first cluster of photos are from an annual event that The Family Fold has been honored to play for several, several years… “A Southern Evening for Life.”
You may remember the eclipse that happened a few years ago. Even Imelda (the Doberman) enjoyed that amazing event!
Mom & I are still in the hospital. Dad says that her basses miss her. We are so grateful for your prayers, and we believe that there will be more fun musical memories made in the future. We hope you can be a part of those times. Good Lord willing… In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
“Unclouded Day” - Eryn Eubanks & The Family Fold, with Imelda May Eubanks.
We are very thankful for all of the love and prayers for Mom. We are still in the hospital. (I am staying with her here, and I wouldn’t have that any other way!) She is having several neurological tests done this weekend. They have already begun. Naturally, it plays on Mom’s nerves since some of these tests involve more lumbar puncture, so please pray for The Lord to give her extra comfort this weekend. We still don’t know just yet what’s been wrong with Mom, but we believe we are getting closer to finding out. Please continue to pray with us that the problem will be found and that there will be a good solution for it. Thank y’all so much for caring!
Among many things she is longing to do, Mom is ready to get back to playing music like she does in the video below. We always love her bass solo in this tune!
Mom was admitted to the hospital and taken to her room on Sunday around 4:30 A.M. after a night in the ER. She had a spinal tap yesterday, and is starting today off with a brain MRI. I am staying with her in the hospital. We are so grateful for y’all praying for us. Please keep on! And please don’t forget to send us your prayer requests (and praise reports, too). Let’s keep praying for one another, rejoicing with one another, and being here for each other.
I am at the ER with my mom. Please pray for her. She is in need of more medical tests. Please pray that good solutions can be found to the problems she has suffered with. Thank y’all.
Well, those “rare, breakthrough cases” have struck my family… Please pray for Opa & Oma. We found out that they have COVID along with Strep Throat. They had their vaccine, they were still careful about who they were around, and they have been doing all of the right things.
Now, all of my grandparents have been touched by COVID. We are hopeful and prayerful for Oma & Opa to beat this, but we all carry sadness that Mimmie died from COVID. Back when she became sick with it, vaccines weren’t available, but one of the last things that she said a couple of days before she died was, “I want my shot!”
Anyways, please pray for my Oma & Opa, and please continue to pray for all of my little family on the home-front here in Augusta (Greg, Mom, and Dad). We are doing our best to get Mom better, and each of us have been through a health scare in our lives.
We also pray that you will stay safe & well. We are doing our best to be careful. We are doing our best to be understanding and considerate of others. We take COVID very seriously. It hits close to home for me. And even without a pandemic, big scars on my chest remind me of how scary it is to almost die from an infection.
We thought you would enjoy this video from a few years ago. Mom is playing the flute with her mother and her brother, and this is the kind of music she grew up studying.
Our family is extremely grateful for your prayers for all of us! Please keep on, and we are praying for The Lord to shield you all and fill you with His peace.
Sunday, July 25th, 2021 ~ Eryn Eubanks shares a verse of an old hymn, a prayer update, and a message from The Bible. (Scriptures are Matthew 13:58, John 11:40, and Mark 9:14-27.)
If you’re on Facebook… I just created the group, “Family Fold Church & Prayer Chain,” on Facebook. If it’s something you would like to be a part of, please search for us and send us a request.
Disclaimer… Don’t let the “church” word scare you. Our group has always tried to be a supplement to the church you’re already attending, not “steal you away” from your local congregation. 🙃
And if you don’t attend a local church, but you think you might like what we do, come on and send us a request. It’s just us! What ya’ see is what ya’ get with The Family Fold.
Happy Mandolin Anniversary to Me! On July 14th, 2000, I started playing the mandolin. It has been the fastest, funnest 21-years of my life so far. I thank God for every detail and person He lined up on my path. I pray to Him that I get to share music with you all for many, many more years to come. Thank you for being a part of my journey! God bless you, and always remember… GOD LOVES YOU!!!
My guitarist & I are happy to be back playing some more live music for St. Paul’s Celtic Service on Sunday (June 27th) at 5:15 P.M. You don’t have to make a reservation… Just come as you are! (605 Reynolds St. Augusta, GA 30901).
Our next date there will be August 8th. Please continue to pray for my mom… Specifically that she will be able to walk on her own, and that she will be able to play music with us again. It has been 8-months that she has suffered with ailments! We miss the huge, one-of-a-kind sound that she brings to The Family Fold. We want our feisty, tough-cookie Ricie back!
God bless you, and always remember… GOD LOVES YOU!!!
My guitarist & I will be playing some music for the 11:00 A.M. service at Saint Paul’s Church this Sunday (June 13th). Masks are required, but you do not have to make a reservation, so we hope to see you there (605 Reynolds St. Augusta, GA 30901).
If you can’t join us in person on Sunday at 11:00 A.M., you can tune your radio to WGAC 580 A.M., you can stream the radio broadcast at wgac.com, or you can go to the “Saint Paul’s Church Augusta, GA” Facebook page to watch it live.
Our next dates there are June 27th and August 8th. Please mark your calendar, and join us if you can.
Please continue to pray for my mom. We really miss her playing music with us at this church, and we hope she can join us again soon.
Here is a video of what it was like last summer 2020 when we played for the morning service.
God bless you, and always remember… GOD LOVES YOU!!!
May 27th, 1997 is a special day because Patrick Eubanks rededicated his life to Jesus Christ! God spared his life when he nearly died from pneumonia. He had ARDS... It was scary.
I love my dad, and I am so thankful that God kept him in my life. At the time, I was only 9-years-old, and didn’t play a musical instrument at all. Without Dad’s influence, I wouldn’t be a multi-instrumentalist or leader of The Family Fold. I probably wouldn’t have had the blessing of knowing you either.
We serve a God who is mighty to save us... Spiritually, and physically,
too ! Today we especially celebrate that, and I pray that this story will encourage you in your faith.
After 5-months since the last time we were there, we are very happy to say that we will be playing live music for St. Paul’s Celtic Service on Sunday, May 23rd at 5:15 P.M. Masks are required, but you do not have to reserve a spot, so please come on! It’s been so long since we’ve seen y’all - in person - so we hope to see you there (605 Reynolds St. Augusta, GA 30901).
Please keep on praying for Mom. We are grateful that she got well enough to be back home with us. Physical therapists come to work with her at least three times a week here at home, and they want to keep that schedule going for the next 7-weeks. But Mom still needs healing and strengthening from The Lord. This morning, she fell. Her right foot twisted, but she has it propped up now. Mom has had diabetic neuropathy for a few years, but it was never bad feeling, just a little bit of tingling in her left foot. But after meningitis back in February, the diabetic neuropathy got worse and moved to the right side. It seems like over these past four days, she can’t feel things with her right foot like she normally would. So please keep praying for Mom. She needs God’s healing from head to toe so she can get back to playing that bass, running that sound board, telling The Family Fold what to do (haha!), and going back to her nursing work at the hospital so she can help others in their time of need.
