Family Fold News ~ May 2026

We hope this month of May is going well for you. Thank you for praying for us last month. We have some praise reports and further prayer requests.

We praise God that Mom’s annual imaging of her brain & shunt look great. She’s “stable, with no changes.”

We also are thankful to The Lord that Mom’s bone density scan showed improvement. So, she is going to continue to take that strong, expensive bone medicine for another year. Please pray that will help her even more.

Mom’s kidney stone removal surgery went well last month, thank God! The team at Mayo Clinic said it was a large stone, the size of an acorn, and it had been there for quite a while. It caused a lot of irritation, so they did place another stent in Mom.

We ask that you would pray for us this week as we travel back to Mayo Clinic to have this stent removed. Also, Mom has dealt with persistent epigastric pain for months, so they are going to do an MRI of her abdomen while we’re there. We’ll stay two nights in the hotel. Please pray for safe travels, and for us to have a good trip.
