July 2026 Update

We hope you & yours are having a good holiday weekend.

Please continue to keep our family in your prayers. I thank you for all of the comments a couple of weeks ago when I posted on Facebook to pray for my husband, Greg. He has had arthritic pain in his hips for many years, and it’s been pretty manageable. But a couple of weeks ago, it got way worse suddenly. It’s really affected his work and mobility. He’s made the decision to get hip replacement surgery, but that cannot be done until August. Meanwhile, he is taking antibiotics for an infection in his mouth and will have a root canal next week.

Also next week, our family will travel to Mayo Clinic (Florida) for tests for my mom. Urology wants a kidney ultrasound, and Gastroenterology is doing a work-up (labs, nuclear medicine GI transit exam, and an endoscopy). An MRI Mom recently had showed that her pancreas is “shriveled up,” so that may be what has caused her this constant abdominal pain. Hopefully these tests can give us more insight as to what is going on and what can be done to give her relief. With all of this on the itinerary, we will spend three nights in the hotel. Please pray for our endurance and safe travels, too.

This past week, I have been experiencing fatigue….. But Dad, my guitar player, and his sweet wife are doing good; so please pray for The Lord to keep it that way for my Family Fold!

On the eve of America’s 250th birthday, we just want to praise God for His amazing grace! We are thankful for the freedom we have in Christ and in this country. We are blessed to have praised Jesus publicly for decades and to have never experienced the persecution others face all over this world. We have the best time getting to play a lot of fabulous American music, and we have the best loved ones to enjoy all of that with… I’m talking about Y’ALL! Thank y’all for loving us and praying for us. Y’all have our love and prayers, too. ~ERYN​
